Leo Razo

California

After navigating his way as an immigrant from Jalisco, Mexico to the U.S. in the early 90s, Chef Leo Razo knows how important it is to teach and mentor our youth to stay inspired and passionate. From humble beginnings as a dishwasher to working his way to the top as the owner of two acclaimed restaurants in Orange County, Chef Leo has not only been named “Top OC Chef” in 2018 by OC Chef’s Table but is also known for giving back to the community by ways of demonstrating his cooking skills for the participants of Waymakers’ Gang Prevention and Youth Development Program and the residents of the Huntington Beach Youth Shelter, all of whom are looking for the guidance to a positive future, (Paella With a Cause). The way Razo sees it, paella comes with a purpose and it’s symbolic of life. It’s part of the reason he’s starting to use “Paella with a purpose” as his slogan for events.

He is co-founder and Executive Chef of Cambalache Grill in Fountain Valley and previously Villa Roma Argentine & Italian Restaurant in Laguna Hills. He enjoys being able to delight people with unique culinary experiences.
